Tee-Up for Transplants Golf Invitational Celebrates its Tenth Year!
The unseasonably warm spring day did not deter the one hundred and twenty-two golfers from a great day
of golfing at the picturesque Somerset Hills Country Club. This year's outing, held
on June 9th, offered a double shot-gun start and featured contests and prizes like the putting contest, closest to the hole, longest drive and beat the pro. This year, one lucky golfer even took home a Flemington Fur for hitting a hole in one on the second hole.
Thanks to all who participated in making this year's outing a success. Funds from this year's outing will go to support programs like our new “Lessons for Life”, a high school educational program geared towards giving students throughout the state the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about donation and inspire them to share this information with family, friends and fellow students.
Thank you also to all of our sponsors, our “Tricky Tray” raffle, Silent Auction and other contributors, and the many wonderful volunteers who helped make the day so special. The accommodating staff at Somerset Hills Country Club is to be commended for making us feel so welcome and helping everyone stay hydrated! Special thanks to our Platinum Sponsor, Saint Barnabas Health Care System/Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and our Gold Sponsors, Atlantic Neurosurgical Specialists and Roche Pharmaceuticals.
If you are interested in being a part of next year's golf invitational, please contact Alli Keleman or 973-379-4535 x2052 for more information.
