Donna Albanese Elected as New Chair for the NJ Sharing Network Foundation

The NJ Sharing Network Foundation is pleased to announce the election of Donna Albanese, a living kidney donor, as its new Chair of the Board of Trustees. The NJ Sharing Network Foundation is the philanthropic arm of NJ Sharing Network, the federally-funded, non-profit organ procurement organization for New Jersey dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissue donation. Albanese brings thirty plus years of professional and volunteer experience with an emphasis on community relations. Her strengths include organization, leadership, membership recruitment, with a superior ability to motivate and inspire community involvement
and contributions. Albanese is the owner operator of the Dairy Queen in Plainfield, NJ where she has been a long standing contributor to the community including the spearheading of community improvement projects and successful fundraising initiatives.

Besides being a positive, energetic, caring and compassionate leader, Albanese knows firsthand the importance of our mission, having donated a kidney to her mother 7 years ago. Albanese is well poised to assist the NJ Sharing Network Foundation in enhancing awareness of their mission to save lives through organ and tissue donation as well as raising the much needed funds to support public education efforts, donor families and transplant recipients.

Albanese holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from The College of New Jersey. She currently resides with her family in Scotch Plains, NJ.
