Bristol-Myers Squibb hosts largest workplace
campaign in NJ Sharing Network history

Bristol-Myers Squibb’s (BMS) 2004 Organ and Tissue Donation Drive set the gold standard for workplace education programs. Over six months of planning and preparation culminated in a comprehensive campaign designed to reach all 4,200 BMS employees at their Lawrenceville and Plainsboro locations.

Workplace partner LifeCELL kicks off yearlong effort to educate employees about donation and transplantation

LifeCELL has partnered with NJ Sharing Network for a yearlong Community Stewardship Program to educate its employees about organ and tissue donation. Following a late summer program kick-off event, LifeCELL held a registration day and provided two lunch-and-learn trainings. Most recently, senior management agreed to reimburse all employees who wish to purchase a “Donate Life” license plate. NJ Sharing Network is excited to continue our yearlong efforts to promote donation among LifeCELL employees and we thank them for their commitment and longstanding support.

Sam’s Club helps to save lives.

NJ Sharing Network acknowledges our ongoing community partnership with Sam’s Club. Six clubs in our service area donate funds annually to support NJ Sharing Network public education efforts. Over the past year, Sam’s Club contributed $1,850.00 to our “Communities of Caring” minority outreach program. With so many charitable organizations seeking support, we are grateful for Sam’s Club’s ongoing commitment and dedication to our mission.

Collaboration brings Workplace Partnership for Life to
2004 New Jersey Conference of Mayors Annual Meeting

The New Jersey Conference of Mayors (NJCOM) invited Gift of Life Donor Program (GOLDP) and New Jersey Organ and Tissue Sharing Network (NJ Sharing Network) to participate in the 2004 NJCOM Annual Meeting on April 21st through 23rd to promote the national “Workplace Partnership for Life” (WPFL) initiative encouraging increased organ and tissue donation rates through the workplace.
