“Champions for Life” volunteers spend many hours of dedicated service working on office and community outreach projects. To show our appreciation, NJ Sharing Network holds our annual “Celebration of Life and Remembering” outdoor event to honor our donor families and to recognize our volunteers. Each volunteer receives a pin indicating either total hours of service or total events to their credit. They are treated to a family fun day with food, lots of activities for the whole family and a chance to share with other recipients and donor family members.

In addition to “Celebration of Life and Remembering” a committee comprised of NJ Sharing Network staff chooses a “Volunteer of the Quarter.” A picture and short write up appear on our website and in our quarterly “Champions for Life” newsletter. At our annual event these four volunteers are presented with a special gift to show our appreciation for their outstanding service.

Contact Patricia Boyce or Mike Ussak for more information about our Champions for Life Volunteer program.
